Welcome to the Celtic Swell, an authentic Irish pub experience on the beach of Alki in West Seattle. Owner Gareth Hughes was born and raised in Armagah, Northern Ireland. Together with his wife, Joleen, the Hughes family hopes to bring a little piece of Ireland to you by offering traditional Irish hospitality and the ambiance of a genuine Irish Pub.

    Gareth’s family recipes are used throughout the menu, infusing Northwest ingredients with traditional Irish fare. The Celtic Swell makes each menu item from scratch and we take pride to ensure that all we offer is consistently delicious food.

    The Celtic Swell provides the ideal backdrop for  patrons to enjoy the Gaelic way of life. There is no other Irish bar in Seattle with a more beautiful setting where you can watch the Northwest sunset over picturesque Puget Sound, all while sipping a Guinness. Enjoy!
